About the Associate Financial Operations Analyst:
This is an early-careers role for someone curious about finance, data, and the operations behind a global fintech. You'll join our EMEA Market Operations team and learn to manage a portfolio of enterprise client markets. Each market connects a buyer with their suppliers, giving suppliers the option to receive early payment of their invoices in exchange for a small discount — and our team calibrates the cash deployment and yield settings each day to maximise both supplier participation and client returns.
With support from the team, you'll grow into owning a portfolio of your own: spotting revenue opportunities and risks in the data, executing market changes, and shaping client outcomes. You'll be supported with structured onboarding, mentorship, and genuine room to grow as you build expertise.
Essential Duties:
- Take ownership of an assigned portfolio of enterprise client markets, managing the cash and yield settings that drive day-to-day performance.
- Analyse market data to spot trends, risks, and optimisation opportunities.
- Prepare reporting and analysis for internal stakeholders and clients.
- Build positive client relationships and contribute to clear communication with stakeholders.
- Work cross-functionally with teams across C2FO, partnering closely with Sales to agree supplier discount strategies and contributing to process improvements and product feedback.
- Build business cases and ad-hoc analysis to support commercial decision-making.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- An analytical and problem-solving mindset.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients, as well as understand and respond to their needs.
- Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and navigate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Curiosity about finance, working capital, and how businesses use cash.
- Genuine interest in using AI tools and automation to improve efficiency and workflows.
Basic Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in finance or related degree is preferred (or equivalent practical experience).
- Experience in data analysis through internships, academic coursework/projects or work experience.
- Strong verbal communication skills with a proven ability to illustrate data and present findings effectively to a team.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Interest in using AI-powered tools and automation to improve efficiency and workflows.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Statistics, Business Analytics, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Familiarity with SQL or data visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Exposure to financial statements and topics like working capital, cash conversion cycle through coursework, internships, or projects.
