About the Role:
The Strategic Business Operations Manager supports key business initiatives focused on operational efficiency, process improvement, and business growth. This role partners cross-functionally to help drive strategic projects, improve workflows, analyze business performance, and support scalable operational processes. The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, collaborative, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities.
Essential Duties:
- Support and execute business initiatives aimed at improving operational efficiency, customer experience, and business performance.
- Conduct discovery and research to understand business workflows, operational challenges, and stakeholder needs, helping identify opportunities for improvement.
- Manage and coordinate strategic projects and operational initiatives from planning through execution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Product, Sales, Finance, and Operations, to support business objectives and process improvements.
- Analyze data and business metrics to identify trends, measure performance, and provide actionable recommendations.
- Create and maintain project documentation, business process materials, reporting dashboards, and operational resources.
- Assist in developing scalable processes, templates, and repeatable frameworks to improve team efficiency and consistency.
- Monitor project timelines, risks, dependencies, and deliverables, escalating concerns when appropriate.
- Support the development of presentations, reporting materials, and business updates for leadership stakeholders.
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts by identifying operational gaps and recommending practical solutions.
- Build strong working relationships across teams to help drive alignment and execution of shared business goals.
- Adapt quickly to changing priorities and support multiple initiatives simultaneously in a dynamic environment.
Work Environment:
- Fully Remote: This position is fully remote, requiring a reliable internet connection in a private setting.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience).
- 2+ years of relevant experience in business operations, strategy, project coordination, program management, consulting, or a related field.
- Experience supporting cross-functional projects and operational initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and provide business insights and recommendations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Ability to work independently while also contributing within a team environment.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and adapting to changing business needs.
- Experience using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and business intelligence or reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with project management methodologies, Agile practices, or process improvement concepts is preferred.
- Experience in fintech, financial services, SaaS, or other high-growth industries.
