Brief Summary of Role
Copado is seeking a Sales Engineer for the Japan region to lead the technical aspects of the sales cycle, identifying customer needs and delivering customized demonstrations and PoCs. Beyond the initial sale, you will utilize your technical expertise and cultural understanding to drive long-term customer success. You will act as a bridge between global best practices and local business customs, ensuring Japanese clients achieve maximum ROI with Copado solutions.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Provide technical support to the sales team, prospects, and customers in the Japan region throughout the entire sales cycle.
- Be an expert in Copado’s AI-powered DevOps platform and how our DevOps Automation, Testing and AI offerings can be applied to solve business needs.
- Develop and present value-based demonstrations of the Copado solution.
- Manage and run workshops and proof of concepts (POCs) guiding measures of success and towards meaningful outcomes.
- Respond to RFPs and other required formal written responses for sales opportunities.
- Be an interface to Product and Engineering teams, representing voice of the Customer
- Supporting all aspects of regional development including, but not limited to, attending marketing events, meeting with customers, and influencers from different channels.
- Execute localized customer success strategies for the Japanese market to drive technical adoption.
- Collaborate with global teams while maintaining local market effectiveness, bridging Global and Japanese business practices.
- Identify improvement opportunities in Process, Efficiency, and Productivity to enhance customer satisfaction
We Are Looking for Someone With
- Strong technical skills, ideally from software development experience or previous pre-sales or consulting experience.
- Proven experience with Salesforce implementations and/or Salesforce Certification(s).
- Ability to lead technical presentations and engage the audience.
- Energetic self-starter with the ability to work independently.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated success in customer-facing roles within Japanese enterprises.
- Strong understanding of Japanese business culture with a track record of building and maintaining successful customer relationships in Japan.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge and experience working with DevOps and/or Test Automation.
- Experience with the SDLC and Release Management.
- Knowledge with AI
- Experience working in a global company's Japanese subsidiary.
- Understanding of Japanese data protection regulations and compliance requirements.
- Experience in KPI/NPS-driven environments with a focus on Japanese customer satisfaction standards.
