About Uber
We are Uber. The go-getters. The kind of people who are relentless about our mission to help people go anywhere and get anything and earn their way.Job Description
Sales at Uber means navigating ambiguity, earning trust fast, and solving problems that don’t come with a script. As an Account Manager for our French-speaking region (Wallonia & Brussels), you are the primary consultant for a portfolio of local favorite restaurants. You’ll bridge the gap between our technology and the real-world challenges of the restaurant industry, helping partners grow their business while ensuring long-term profitability on our platform.
This role is high-impact but requires a high degree of grit. You’ll lead complex commercial discussions and renegotiate contracts in an environment where market dynamics shift daily. You won't just be managing accounts; you’ll be solving messy, real-time problems that impact the livelihoods of your partners. If you are energized by the challenge of building deep partnerships in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment where the answer isn’t always in a playbook, this is where you’ll grow.
What You’ll Do
-
Build and grow long-term partnerships by understanding what matters most to your restaurant partners—it's not just about retention, it's about mutual growth.
-
Navigate internal complexity and collaborate across operations, marketing, and product teams to unblock challenges and deliver solutions for your portfolio.
-
Lead tough commercial negotiations and contract renewals with confidence, staying resilient through objections and high-pressure conversations.
-
Use data to identify growth gaps, building convincing pitches that help partners leverage the full suite of Uber products to optimize their menus and operations.
-
Manage your portfolio with discipline and urgency, balancing the need for quick wins with the long-term strategy of account retention.
-
Adapt your approach based on market trends and imperfect information, recognizing that every restaurant’s needs in the Wallonia and Brussels region are unique.
-
Track the details and follow through on promises, keeping the momentum going even when the operational "messiness" of the food delivery business gets intense.
Basic Qualifications
-
Minimum 2 years of experience in client-facing account management or a relevant commercial role.
-
Fluency in French and professional proficiency in English.
-
Experience in framing value propositions and demonstrating the "give/get" in partnerships.
-
Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to probe for objections and gain commitment.
-
Proven ability to multitask and prioritize your daily tasks based on quantified business impact.
- A "hustle" mindset with the willingness to get in the weeds to hit quarterly revenue and adoption targets.
Preferred Qualifications
-
Capability to run analysis and transform raw data into actionable business insights.
-
Strategic thinking skills to analyse restaurant needs and creatively solve for platform gaps.
-
Food Delivery or marketplace expereince
