The Opportunity
The Event Marketing Manager will own and execute the company’s event program. This role is responsible for planning, managing, and optimizing our participation in third-party conferences, trade shows, self-run events, partner events, and webinars across regions. The position ensures events align with pipeline goals, brand presence, and sales enablement, and that each investment delivers measurable business impact.
You will partner closely with marketing leadership, sales, partnerships, customer success, and our brand and product teams to select the right events, shape messaging, and support onsite execution. Working with the broader marketing team, you will manage events end-to-end, including registration, vendor coordination, promotion, onsite activations, and pre- and post-event follow up. You will also collaborate with brand and product stakeholders to develop booth presence, messaging, and attendee experience that reflects company positioning and product value.
This role combines strong operational execution with strategic thinking and carries clear ownership of performance and ROI.
What You Will Do
- Own the company’s event program across trade shows, conferences, partner events, webinars as well as self-run events
- Partner with marketing leadership to identify priority events and build annual and quarterly event plans aligned to pipeline targets
- Manage events end-to-end including registration, vendor coordination, shipping, booth logistics, staffing, and onsite execution
- Coordinate internal attendees including sales, executives, and partners. Provide pre-event preparation such as messaging alignment, talking points, and demo readiness
- Plan and execute onsite activations that drive engagement, meetings, and lead capture
- Negotiate and execute contracts with event organizers and vendors
- Collaborate with sales and demand generation teams to support meeting booking and follow-up campaigns
- Track and manage event budgets, timelines, and deliverables across multiple concurrent events
- Measure and report event performance, including influenced pipeline, meetings held, MQLs, and revenue impact
- Work with brand and creative teams to ensure booth design, collateral, and messaging align with company positioning
- Manage event inventory including booths, signage, and promotional items
- Support post-event processes including lead routing, follow-up campaigns, and performance reporting
- Travel as required, approximately 25 to 30 percent of the time
What You Will Need
- 5+ years of B2B marketing experience, ideally in B2B SaaS supporting enterprise or complex sales cycles
- Direct experience managing sponsored events, trade shows, or conference programs
- Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously
- Experience working cross-functionally with sales, partnerships, and executives
- Comfort managing vendors, contracts, and event budgets
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized, self-driven, and comfortable operating independently
- Familiarity with CRM and marketing automation tools for tracking leads and performance (e.g., Salesforce, Marketo, HubSpot, or similar)
