Job Description
- Develop features across our complete product range (server-side as well as client-facing) to deliver industry-leading solutions.
- Build software solutions by working with stakeholders to determine end-user needs, studying system interactions and data flows, designing and building integration APIs, and investigating problem areas in line with the software development lifecycle.
- Maintain a strong focus on customer needs, ensuring solutions are practical and scalable.
- Provide in-depth engineering support (debugging, performance optimizations, etc.) during rollout phases to customers.
- Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering technical growth within the team.
- Demonstrate proactive, positive thinking with a strong desire to build better software.
- BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline (equivalent experience will also be considered).
- 5+ years of relevant work experience.
- Strong experience and fundamentals in Python (Flask and Django) and Java.
- Knowledge of the following is a plus: Apache, Nginx, AWS, Microservices, Distributed Computing Concepts.
- Good knowledge of HTML5, CSS, JavaScript.
- Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., Postgres, MongoDB).
- Ability to work as part of a team—both within the Development team and across the wider organization.
- Fluent in English and Chinese, both written and verbal.
