Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Manager / Representative to drive sales of our solid-state chemistry solutions. This role plays a key part in shaping our solid-state chemistry offerings, supporting team success, and contributing to XtalPi’s strategic growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve individual sales targets
- Proactively prospect and qualify leads through outreach, industry events, and client meetings
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations aligned with client scientific goals
- Negotiate contracts and pricing, clearly articulating the value of our services
- Maintain and expand relationships with existing clients through regular engagement
Qualifications
- Master’s degree or above in Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related field
- Strong soft skills, including resilience, execution capability, proactive attitude, and self-motivation
- Prior sales or customer-facing experience preferred; solid-state chemistry experience is a strong plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain complex scientific concepts
- Willingness to travel across the US/Canada, Europe, and APAC
