The Singapore Commercial team oversees, shapes and grows the business in Grab Singapore. We contribute towards Grab's vision of being Southeast Asia's superapp by providing everyday services that matter most to consumers in Singapore. We develop and execute business strategies that help us achieve our vision in serving our community.
The team is responsible for growing and managing the accounts of F&B businesses across GrabFood. Ensuring close partnership with these merchants, we develop plans and strategies to drive their sales and meet their business needs, across the different services in Grab such as Express, Pay, and Ads.
Get to know the Role:
As an Account Manager (GrabFood), you will be responsible for:
- Establishing and managing strong business relationships with existing and potential new merchants to drive growth for GrabFood
- Leading all elements of account management, including business identification, business development strategy, partner negotiation, day-to-day account management, and execution of key initiatives
- Driving growth in F&B accounts as measured by deliveries, GMV and revenue, as well as forming deeper relationships with partners through collaboration in other Grab verticals such as GrabPay, GrabAds and GrabExpress
The day-to-day activities:
- Work with the Head of Commercial (GrabFood) on business development strategy
- Manage a portfolio of accounts with a focus on building lasting relationships and increasing profitability/revenue
- Evaluate strategic and partnership opportunities, performing a broad range of quantitative and qualitative analyses
- Analyzing data and developing initiatives to increase revenues/profitability for your portfolio
- Drive growth for key accounts, measured by deliveries and GMV and ensure that the partner thrives on the platform
- Work across functions to tailor account specific needs (e.g. customized reporting, marketing support, integrations, product, etc.) to make sure accounts have the best possible experience on the GrabFood platform
- Continuously engage our merchants and listen to their needs, collect and address feedback, and address concerns put forward
- Drive operational excellence by working with the merchants and operations teams
- Work closely with business teams to develop joint business plans, conduct regular business reviews and pitch strategic initiatives
