- Timely tracking and reporting of progress, dependencies, risks, and de-risking plan for initiatives, including those performed by stakeholder functions
- Develop and maintain artifacts for the initiative during entire initiative lifecycle
- Where appropriate, define and develop required reports, dashboard for reporting progress and trends
- Provide coordination and the support to business leaders on processes, procedures, tools and techniques for seamless operations and execution of R&D projects
- Responsible for all governance requirements for SOPs across R&D organization pertaining to vendor management, license management, onboarding and offboarding of contingent workers etc.
- Act as catalyst between procurement, finance and R&D stakeholders to provide required information for annual forecasting and budgeting.
- Act as a key point of contact and liaison between Engineering Leadership Team, project managers and component area owners for driving the Change Management.
- Work with engineering teams, project managers and accounting team for compliance and audits around areas like SOC audits, Software Capitalization etc.
- Independently manage BAU (Business as usual) tasks, maintain artifacts and SharePoint lists owned and managed by business operations team
- Independently create highly impactful presentations for Senior Management covering status and health of initiatives
- Create and manage communications plan for various forums, working groups and COE initiatives that are critical for seamless functioning of engineering teams
- Take part in brainstorming sessions, offering realistic, workable insights to develop and plan execution of campaigns that increase productivity
- Build strong on ground presence to identify any gaps or challenges faced by the business teams and report them to decision makers with potential resolutions
- Partner with cross-functional teams in improving the overall collaboration
Qualifications
- Vendor Management: Adequate ability to work with vendors and procurement team
- Business Finance acumen : Ability to understand nuances of P&L and the impact of business decisions on finance KPIs like gross margin, ROI, budget compliance etc.
- Change Management: Deep understanding of change management concepts and practices
- Team working: Demonstrate ability to work collaboratively with others, rather than working alone
- Communication: Come across as knowledgeable, coherent and confident communicator
- Customer Focus: Establishes trust relationship with stakeholders, and internal customers
- 15-18 years of experience as PMO or Program Manager in Business Operations teams of IT/Product organization
- Preferred professional certifications: PMI – PMP, Agile – Scaled Agile Framework, Any PMO related professional learning
- Bachelor’s degree (If in science, computers, information technology or engineering will be added advantage)
- Good understanding of SDLC will be added advantage
