1. Responsibilities:
- Understand the vehicle features, homologation, functional safety and cyber security requirements and use them as the input for development of E/E system level requirements within Electrical Architecture (EA) department scope.
- Responsible for defining, creating and managing the SYS.2 (ASPICE) system level requirements for the vehicle features within Electrical Architecture (EA) department scope.
- Coordinate the design & development of E/E System Level Requirements and vehicle specifications for internal and external suppliers.
- Responsible for managing the analysis for supplier requirements, creating the technical reviews and update documentation.
- Integrate and maintain designed system level requirements using Model Based System Engineering approach.
- Collaborate within the EA department and other design areas in creation and definition of functional allocation matrix, boundary diagrams, state machines, activity & sequential diagrams for EA vehicle level features.
- Collaborate with concept team for analysis and benchmarking of E/E requirements and concepts for current and future projects.
- Tracking and reporting both SW & HW requirements during the whole development lifecycle of the vehicle.
- Support product development stages for certain products within the Electrical Architecture design area scope.
- Support Vehicle Networks & Diagnostics team for integration of EA vehicle features.
- Support LV & HV System Design groups for integration of EA vehicle features.
- Support discussions with various suppliers for EA domain relevant products.Support various Cross-functional teams in understanding the impact of their systems and related decisions on EA systems design
- Create and maintain general electrical documentation, requirements, test-case definition, DVP, …
- Close cooperation with System Engineering team.
- Create the vehicle level DVPs withing EA feature scope.
- Support Vehicle Testing Team and Validation group through validation process on the different types of vehicle builds(mules,prototypes and pre-series) and object builds (HiL, Rigs, Test benches, …).
2. Requirements:
- Bachelor or higher degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics, automotive engineering or comparable discipline
- 5+ years of working experience in the field of automotive, E/E system or function development
- High understanding of automotive system concept design and system engineering
- Good E/E Architectural, Hardware Schematic and layout design comprehension
- Strong knowledge of handling all types of electrical signals and automotive communication protocols (CAN, CAN FD, LIN, MOST, FlexRay, Automotive Ethernet …)
- Good understanding of different automotive design areas (Powertrain, Vehicle Dynamics, Chassis, Body), features and functions development
- Familiarity with system and software integration of the E/E components in the vehicle
- Understanding of Software-Oriented-Architecture (SOA) for automotive applications.
- Experienced background in OEM & Supplier industries
- Experienced knowledge in vehicle development standards & processing
- Experience with MS Office, E/E development tools like PREEvision, CANoe, ETAS Inca, … and requirements tracking tools like JAMA, DOORS, …
- Strong competence in using the modelling methods and tools: MATLAB / Simulink.

3. Considered as a plus:
- Previous experience in automotive industry, especially in R&D for hybrid and fully electric vehicles with focus on Electrical Architecture & System Engineering design areas
- Support DFMEA, FMEA, TARA and HARA activities for Electrical Architecture relevant topics
- Familiarity with automotive standards ISO26262, ISO/SAE 21434, LV124, LV123
- Experience with Requirement Management
- Experience with MATLAB/Simulink/System Composer, C++, Embedded C, Python, CANalyzer, CANoe
- Basic understanding of product development stages
- Strong understanding of ASPICE V-model
- Working with suppliers to define requirements for the design of a new product of interest within EA scope
- Good understanding of modelling methods and tools: CANalyzer, Matlab / Simulink, PREEVISION or similar Requirements tracking tool / Jama, Doors, …
- Software development background
- Experienced knowledge in vehicle development standards & processing
