We are looking for a Manufacturing Lead – Factory Design to be a part of our Systems team involved across all projects.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating a team that will be delivering factory design:
  • Production space allocation;
  • Production layout optimization;
  • Designing 2D or 3D drawings based on the assembly line concept, taking into consideration value stream, operators, and material flow.
• Coordination between stakeholders:
  • Collecting information from Facility, ESD, HSE, Manufacturing, Production, Logistics, Project teams etc.
  • Feeding input to Facility and other interested stakeholders.
• Ensuring the intended space meets all automotive, construction and health & safety requirements and standards (e.g., clean areas, connection to utilities, power demand, availability of emergency exits and fire extinguishers).
• Ensuring projects meet the timeline and stay within the budget.
• Line layout metrics (e.g. usable/dead/unused space etc.)
• Supporting the equipment procurement on technical topics.
• Standardizing all layouts across projects, existing facilities and new facilities.

Requirements

• Good knowledge of MS Office
• Basic user of CAD
• Experience in designing factories and fitting production lines into existing space
• Experience in managing similar projects
• Strong organizational skills and systematic approach to work
• Very good knowledge of English (written and spoken) is essential
• Communicative team player
• Dependable and methodical (strict attention to detail)
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Self-organized and goal-oriented
• Bachelor's or higher degree in the relevant field of study
• At least 5 years of professional experience
