Job Description

Fetch is a build-first technology company creating a rewards program to power the world. Over the last 5 years, we’ve grown from 0 to 14M active users and taken over the rewards game in the US with our free app. The foundation has been laid. In the next 5 years, we will become a global platform that completely transforms how people connect with brands. 

It all comes down to two core beliefs. First, that people deserve to be rewarded when they create value. If a third party directly benefits from an action you take or data you provide, you should be rewarded for it. And not just the “you get to use our product!” cop-out. We’re talkin’ real, explicit value. Fetch points, perhaps. Second, we also believe brands need a better and more direct connection with what matters most to them: their customers. Brands need to understand what people are doing and have a direct line to be able to do something about it. Not just advertise, but ACT. Sounds nice right?

About the role:

Fetch Rewards' next step in evolving the way we connect with current and future business partners is to bring on a B2B Content Writer. You will work with the growing B2B creative team to tell compelling stories through a range of vehicles, including presentation decks, one-sheets, white papers, case studies and more. It’s up to you to position Fetch as the platform that it is, unlike any other, that provides access to true ROI and 1st party data, and insights into how 14 million American households are spending their money. How will you do this? By leaning into your experience speaking to B2B audiences and your passion for delivering content that is clear, accurate and easy to digest. Let’s go! 

What you’ll do:

  • Create smart, insightful and informative content to elevate the Fetch brand and to entice shoppers and potential business partners to join our team
  • Write clear copy that positions Fetch as a thought leader in the rewards, technology and data industries 
  • Develop a deep understanding of our existing and potential business partners, what motivates them, and how we turn those insights into intriguing copy
  • Work with Fetch’s business intelligence and marketing teams to develop impactful copy and content that excites and educates prospective and current partners
  • Write content for a range of communications, including:
    • Presentations and decks
    • Long form content: one-sheeters, white papers, case studies and newsletters
    • Collateral and other materials for conferences and other events
    • Website content, blog articles and press releases
    • Social media content and digital ads
    • Video scripts and testimonial questionaries
    • Internal communications
    • Support other writers on the team when needed: emails, in-app messages, pushes, social posts, paid ads and more
  • Contribute to the continued development of the voice and tone of the Fetch B2B brand
  • Work with Lead Copywriter and Creative Director to contribute to the identity, voice and tone that permeates all brand touchpoints and stays true to Fetch guidelines
  • Refresh existing communications and create new ones
  • Work within the established creative process

How you’ll do it:

  • Concept, write, iterate, and revise copy based on provided briefs and feedback
  • Distill complex topics and present them in ways that are easy to digest
  • Work within and push Fetch’s established approach to copy
  • Proactively seek out opportunities to elevate copy 
  • Demonstrate dedication to diversity, inclusion, and representation 
  • Keep on top of business trends in content, storytelling, and best practices for copywriting
  • Work with diverse teams across Fetch — primarily on the Partner and Business Development teams, marketing and company leadership
  • Collaborate closely with creative team peers – other writers, illustrators, animators, designers, creative leadership, & project manager
  • Work with individuals on the marketing and social media teams dedicated to strengthening partner relationships and establishing new ones
  • Support copy leadership & their initiatives

Skills we believe you'll need for this position:

  • 3-5 years B2B copywriting experience
  • Great with words, a good vocabulary and solid understanding of grammar — and knows when to bend the rules
  • A knack for writing short and long-form data-driven content
  • Can translate cocktail-napkin notes and data dumps into effective messaging
  • A sincere belief in the power of collaboration
  • A self-starter who is proactive and unwilling to wait for others to tell you what to do
  • Ability to transform insights and strategy into excellent creative output
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment, under tight deadlines
  • Fluent in Microsoft Office and Google Drive programs, especially deck-building programs

Nice to have:

  • Bilingual - Spanish
  • Able to work with type in Adobe Creative Cloud
